Picked up this piece again and started to actually finish it. Really learning how to use the pen tool in Photoshop to my advantage. Naturally I am going to leave the hands to last because hands…ugh.

Cropped the top half for the profile picture for my character. Whee! Still have tons of inking to do for the rest of it though.
Ref photo for skin and hair colors because this woman is gorgeous.

3 hours later from this. Not much accomplished ,but I did spend nearly an hour on just the lips/law alone, trying to get the snarl right. Still not overly happy with it, but I’ll play with it later.

Really liking how the inking so far is coming out. But I really just love to ink - I think it is the closest I get to meditative state…

Another WIP, this time of Silvia who now goes by Darshana to keep the Red Mantis off her tail. I figured while walking around in town she would keep a shawl over her head to help disguise her. Really liking how the lines are turning out on this one.
Had a reference photo for this, got to find it again.

I made the worst walk cycle ever. But everyone has to start somewhere.

cardozzza asked: OHMYGOD YOUR ART FOR THE RED SCARF STORY WAS AMAZING AND EXACTLY HOW I PICTURED HER WHEN I WAS WRITING HER. YOU'RE THE BEST!

<3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3!!!!!!! I also wanted to do a more polished piece of Asha, but I wanted to throw the sketch out to see how you responded. <3 <3 <3 <3 Your story was amazing, I could easily see it being made into an actual children’s book that would rock the socks off of the old boring tale we all heard growing up. You’re badass.

The Red Silk Scarf: A Retelling of Little Red Writing Hood

so-nerdy-it-hurts:

Once upon a time, there was a dear little girl named Asha who was very loved by every person who was lucky enough to meet her, but loved most of all by her grandmother, and there was nothing that she would not have given to the child.

Seeing her head full of natural…

I accidentally made a thing.
